Arrival in the US and Transportation to Washington College
International Students must meet our airport shuttle service at Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI) on Thursday, January 15, 2009.
After you arrive and are ready to go to the shuttle, please meet members of the Office of International Programs at the Hospitality Counter (see map on the right).
BWI No Immigration: If you entered the US at anther port and have already cleared immigration, the Hospitality Counter will be located on the lower level, past bag belts 10 and 11, on the left going toward the international terminal and light rail.
BWI Immigration: If you are entering the US at BWI airport, you will come in through the international terminal and will have to clear customs. When you exit customs, the Hospitality Counter will be in front of you as you exit, slightly around the first corner to your left. As you come around that corner, the counter will be on your right hand side.
Students need to arrive on Thursday, January 15, 2009 between 11:00am-5:00pm to BWI Hospitality Counter. Students who need to arrive earlier should do so on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 and plan to meet at BWI between 11-5pm on Sunday. Please be sure that you are scheduled to arrive at BWI airport and NOT Dulles International Airport or Washington International Airport.
It is important that we schedule a seat for you if you would like to use the shuttle. In order to reserve a seat, you should have filled out and returned the Arrival Information Form (PDF) to the Office of International Programs at fax 410-810-7451. If you have not already done so, please take a moment to complete the form and return it to us right away!
